News sites are committing a terrible sin against the gawd of the internet. Google.
It makes sense they are in need of revenue. I suppose the ads have not paid their bills. So most news sites are giving us a small taste then give us a lock down unless we subscribe.
This can be very frustrating after going to a news site from a shared article on Facebook.
But even worse when found in the Google search results.
What the news sites are doing, is guaranteeing a death in Google by Pogo Stick.
Pogo sticking is when we search in Google and go to a website then leave immediately and research the same word query in Google.
Google’s job is to provide a good experience. Do you think these news sites are giving a good experience?
Of course not.
